About the products -

Below you will find a few examples of Workshop Participant Guides envisioned and created by me. The concept,  logo design, graphic choices, and content were all designed by me for my organization with the goal of "branding" all professional development materials. The results have been a resounding success and the material is now and expectation of the participants.

One aspect of my current position is to conduct professional certification workshops for content-area license renewal. One such workshop is represented by this participant workbook/guide. The Guide provides essential information about the topic, provides for participant note-taking and contains various workshop activities as a single point of reference for the content and instructional planning ideas.

The overall design and its components are original, including the department logo used on the cover and throughout the pages. The main colors conform to the enterprise colors with some additional colors used in the graphics and in the some of the minor design elements. All of the graphics and images used are copyright free.

The demand for this workshop grew tremendously once the "buzz" about it made its way throughout the school district. This workshop took a bit longer to design due to multiple revisions after the initial delivery. Coordinating the use of the technology for differentiation and rotation was challenging due to not having access to live - or even mock - classes. But a couple times back to the drawing board for some tweaks, and it was smooth sailing.

This topic became important to me for production because of the collaborations I'd had with site administrators and observations I'd had of instructional practices. Without a clear understanding of learning objectives, designing instruction to achieve desired outcomes is severely hindered.
